Session 1

Session 1 Speaker Bio & Information

Sarah Bradley is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Auburn, Alabama. She is a native of Eclectic, Alabama. She received her undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Auburn University, and obtained her Master’s degree from Auburn University in Marriage and Family Therapy. Sarah previously worked as a substance abuse and addiction counselor at an intensive outpatient treatment program. Sarah has had a private practice in Auburn, Alabama, since 2018. She works with individuals, couples, and families on a variety of issues from anxiety and depression to infidelity and addiction recovery. She lives in Wetumpka with her husband, John, and her son, Asa (1).

Session 2 Speaker Bios & Information

Inell Billups is a Developmental Specialist for Childcare Enhancement with a Purpose (CCEP) with United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile (Montgomery Office).  Child Care Enhancement with a Purpose is funded by Alabama DHR and CCEP offers free inclusion training to childcare providers statewide. CCEP utilizes experienced early childhood professionals to share simple, practical ways to work with and include children with special needs in childcare centers and family/group childcare homes.

Before working with CCEP she received her Bachelor’s in Psychology with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Development at Southern New Hampshire University and worked as an early childhood educator for seventeen years. She is currently finishing her Master’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Child and Adolescent development. After a successful career as an early childhood educator, Inell decided to go further and help parents with children who have special needs. She is the owner of Parents Advocating Love and Support Consultants LLC, where she works in her community to help those parents who have children with special needs, behaviors, and challenges.When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three wonderful and energetic boys. She loves going to church, learning and seeing new places and her favorite pass time is reading on the beach.

Sherry Speake is the Project Coordinator for Childcare Enhancement with a Purpose of United Cerebral Palsy of mobile (Montgomery office). CCEP utilizes experienced teachers and therapists to share simple, practical ways to work with and include children with special needs in childcare centers and family/group childcare homes. The Montgomery office covers the counties of Autauga, Elmore, Dallas, Montgomery, and Perry.

She is a proud graduate of Auburn University. Sherry has been married for 21 years, has a senior in high school, a stepdaughter and son in law, and is a grandparent to two foster grandchildren. She has enjoyed being a Girl Scout and band mom throughout the past several years.

  • Title: “Fostering Learning Opportunities for Today’s Students Using Technology”
  • Speaker: Dr. Roland “Buddy” Weldon, Alabama Educator (speaker bio)

Session 3 Speaker Bio & Information

Dr. Roland “Buddy” Weldon is an Alabama educator with 25+ years of experience in the classroom. He has served as the Alabama Technology in Motion Specialist from the Southeast Alabama Regional In-service Center located at Troy University for the past 10 years. He also taught grades five through twelve and originally served as a certified Special Areas Teacher. He has training certifications with Apple, Microsoft, Google, PowerSchool, and Schoology. He is currently an adjunct professor for Faulkner University and Troy University, as well as an education consultant. He comes from a family of educators, married and has 2 children.

His Ed.D and Specialist degrees are from the University of West Florida, Master’s Degree from Auburn University, and Bachelor’s in Mild Learning/ Behavior Disorders Degree from Troy University.

  • Speaker: Dr. Kelly Jewell-Glasscock (speaker bio)

Session 4 Speaker Bio & Information

Dr. Kelly Jewell-Glasscock has worked in the field of higher education for over 12 years. She completed her doctoral studies at the University of Washington in SEATTLE, Washington in Behavioral Disorders. In her current position, she is a Curriculum Developer for the United States Air Force at Air University. She is focusing on helping diversify instruction for the spectrum of learners within the Air Force. Previously she was a program coordinator and assistant professor in Special Education at Troy University. She was also a national trainer and support lead for teacher candidates completing the edTPA. In her personal life, Dr. Jewell-Glasscock is a mom, foster mom, animal lover, retired women’s baseball player, and family advocate for children with disabilities.
